Dun dun dunnn !!! First time making it and it was a success 😀 Took about 2 hours because I ended up making the chicken stock myself 🙂
– Pie crust (make sure there’s two)
– Chicken (4 thighs)
– Salt & Pepper
Added water to a large pot and dumped all the chicken in. Cooked on medium high heat for a good 20 minutes. Fat blobs will float to the top like this, just spoon it out. Try not to throw out any of that soon to be broth!
Take out the chicken thighs and remove the bone. Shredded into bite size pieces, but leave them out to sit. Then put bones, chicken skin, and chopped onions into the same pot for another 20 minutes (You can cook longer depending on how strong you want the broth to be).
Turn to just medium heat. Remove bones & chicken skin and add all the veggies.
Add flour and seasoning… you can add or modify seasoning to preferences!
Stir occasionally and when mixture thickens add chicken pieces in.
Use 9 inch pie thingy and place first sheet like so…
Dump mixture in!
Cover with second pie thingy and wrap around connecting the sheet below together. Make little cuts for the pie to breathe… you can make them anyway or a smiley face! 🙂
Bake this baby for 45 at 420 degrees!
Try not to make the crust hang over or this will happen >. <

Too good!!! You can add anything you want as long the broth & flour is in there for the thickening agent! At first cooking I followed recipe exactly, but when you get use to it adding or taking things out still ends up tasting pretty good 😀
